Stress is a natural reaction of our bodies. It's completely normal to go through phases where you feel overwhelmed. During your yoga practice, focusing on the present moment increases your awareness, concentration and centers your mind. Start focusing on your love and kindness. This meditation involves thinking of others with feelings of love, compassion, and kindness.


Go for a walk

Walking can help you relieve stress. Walking allows you to think as well as get away from stressors. Getting out of a stressful situation, breathing in the fresh air, and feeling your body's movements are all natural stress relievers.


Spend time with people who bring you happiness

Friendship is a natural and effective stress reliever. Stress levels in people with good relationships with their friends are significantly lower, which helps keep their immune systems healthy and prevents mental and physical problems from occurring. Talking to your friends about what stresses you out is a great way to relieve stress. And knowing that they are there to listen and support you makes it all the more bearable.


Take note of the triggers that set you off

For example, if stress keeps you awake at night, removing the TV and Laptop from your bedroom and allowing your mind to relax before bed could be the solution.

And, while it can be difficult to prioritize when you have so many other things on your to-do list, self-care is an essential part of stress management.


Taking time to care for yourself can serve as a reminder to you and others that you and your needs are equally important. A well-cared-for body can make you feel good about your life, as well as interact to others that you value yourself. This can help with long-term feelings of well-being.
